This online driver's ed course is 30 hours and covers alcohol and drug safety, aggressive and distracted driving, pedestrian and bicycle safety, handicapped parking, fuel-efficient driving, motorcycle awareness, and organ/tissue donation.
Behind the Wheel
The Behind the Wheel program is a 700‑minute, state‑required in‑car training course for Virginia students under 18 who have already finished the 36‑hour Driver’s Ed classroom instruction. It satisfies the DMV mandate of 14 in‑car periods, split evenly between driving and observation.
